内容:
China has shared a new image of the mystery substance on the lunar surface which has puzzled the scientific community for several weeks.

To the untrained eye, it appears like just another photo of dirt, but with each new image, the potential for correctly identifying where the substance came from, and what it really is, grows.

“It appears to have brighter material embedded within the larger, darker regions, although there is a chance that is light glinting off a smooth surface.”

The lander is just about to wake up from a planned two-week nap, during the lunar night, so the next trip to the dark crater which houses the strange, glassy goo might yield more answers - or potentially pose more questions.

While you are there get some photos of the Apollo LEM Platforms that were left behind.

Hanonymouse
The moon is much smaller than Earth but it''s still a fairly big place.

Sciurus_Niger
It might be something very similar.

REBEL YELL
somebody''s car has an oil leak ....on the beach where they took the photo

LovelySkeptica
Does the Yutu-2 have sensors to detect other properties of the substance, apart from optical imagery?
Will the Near-IR Imaging Spectrometer(VNIS) be able to make a qualified guess? Interesting stuff.

ScienceIsFake
Good observation, The CL-34 unit will quantify the image once they relay the compressed data to the imaging hub.

Ahead of USA, Russia, EU.

But NASA has to slap it''s name on the photo''s

But with stolen technology .

roby007
Who created the USA space program? German Nazis that the Americans had brought from Germany in 1941.

sanmilano
Ha ha...over eight hundred of them.

Gale Wang
In order to steal those technologies before they exist, where did (or will) China ''steal'' that magical time machine?

Is this similar to the glass found on the western border of Egypt, that Oppenheimer, the U.S. atomic bomb builder, described could have only come about from a nuclear weapon in a previous civilization?

Ishann
There have been MANY such civilizations and is recorded as such, all over the world.
Such as in the Vedic literature who also speak of advanced flying machines so sophisticated, the Indian space agencies studied this work to help them with their own research. Plato also confirms this, he was speaking about fact, not making up stories. It is recorded also by many indigenous cultures around the world as part of their heritage.

Jason Mckenzie
Meteorites come in incredibly hot, sand at impact gets "glassified". Even tiny meteorites have the capability to do this. There was no ''previous'' civilization, not with energy-producing tech like you are suggesting.

AnarchicBreeze
Is there sand on the moon?

Dlxkey
They might get hot when they hit. But the moon has no atmosphere to heat up a meteor on the way down.

Steve Shelton
hmm, maybe a result of extreme heat from a collision. Or some alien dropped their dinnerware?

TheNakedTruth99
Whatever it is, leave it there! What comes from space, better stay in space. Enough problems of our own on Earth.

Don Micheal Graham
Ok granny!!

Dlxkey
Whatever it is, don''t step in it.

Let me be the first to break the news. It cannot be meteoric. The glass will show that it was formed by Plasma.
And Apollo 17 didn''t discover the glass, they were all sent to collect it. We knew it would be there. This is why the Americans called their moon mission Apollo (sun god). our sun will nova again.

ricktime
That is not glass , its diamonds that were seeded by the aliens to get us back.

Gregoire312
Looks like a group of moonbats staring into the camera.
